Inter Milan To Meet With Sassuolo As They Lead Race For Juventus Target Ahead Of Defensive Overhaul

Inter Milan are set to hold talks with Sassuolo over a deal for Tarik Muharemovic as they push to secure the Bosnia defender ahead of their summer defensive overhaul, with Fabrizio Romano confirming the Nerazzurri remain the frontrunners despite a significant structural advantage held by Juventus.

According to Romano, via FCInterNews, the personal agreement between Inter and Muharemovic is advancing well, with good feedback emerging from contacts between the player’s agents and the club.

“The discussion between the two parties is going well,” Romano confirmed.

Inter Set To Meet Sassuolo As Juventus Structural Advantage Complicates Deal For Muharemovic

However, key details remain to be resolved.

The overall economic valuation and the potential inclusion of a player as part of the operation are yet to be determined.

And, so, the two clubs will meet soon specifically to discuss these aspects.

Indeed, Juventus hold a genuine structural edge.

Sassuolo must pay 50% of any sale fee back to the Turin club.

Meaning Juventus could effectively purchase Muharemovic at half price.

Therefore, while the table is well set for Inter, the deal is not yet done.

Sporting director Piero Ausilio and the Inter hierarchy have done significant groundwork.

Nevertheless, Romano is clear. Further work remains before a formal agreement can be reached.

The Rams paid homage to New Line Cinema's classic movie "Friday" in a draft campaign video as part of the build-up to the 2026 NFL Draft.

The video titled “Thursday” stars O’Shea Jackson Jr. and Destin Tucker, who step into the roles of their father’s O’Shea and Chris, who played Craig Jones and Smokey in the classic movie "Friday." The three-and-a-half-minute ad also features Rams edge rushers Jared Verse and Byron Young and offensive lineman Kevin Dotson.

Actor Terry Crews, radio host Big Boy and rapper YG have roles in the video as well.

The "Thursday" video showcases comedic, nostalgic scenes and character references from the original "Friday" movie that was released in 1995, and embraces the 2026 NFL Draft.

“This project is a celebration of Los Angeles—the city we call home—and its culture, creativity and global influence,” Rams chief marketing officer Kathryn Kai-ling Frederick said in a statement. “Friday is more than a movie; it’s a cultural touchstone. By reimagining it through Thursday, tying it to the Draft, and connecting it to real fan experiences across the city, we’re creating something that truly represents LA.”

The "Thursday" film was shot at the original "Friday" house in Los Angeles and serves as a pillar for the Rams’ 2026 NFL Draft campaign.
