The Los Angeles Lakers got a much-needed win against their fierce rivals, the Denver Nuggets, on Saturday. It was one of the most competitive games of the season, as it involved a superb intentional miss from the free-throw line from Austin Reaves, who forced overtime with the second chance.

However, the biggest play of the night was Luka Doncic scoring the game-winner on a step-back jump shot at the baseline. It was yet another magical moment from the Lakers' best player, and that was unsurprising for those familiar with him, including the iconic LeBron James.

LeBron knows Luka Doncic continues to be a generational player

Doncic was once again superb for the Lakers on Saturday. He reaffirmed his status as the Lakers' best player with a triple-double of 30 points, 11 rebounds, and 13 assists in the overtime win. However, the biggest play of the night was his game-winner. 

This has become common for Doncic because he has proven to be the star player who will always step up when needed. Despite the tough defense against the Lakers, Doncic made sure he got the space to work with and scored the step-back from the baseline area.

Someone who was not surprised was LeBron, who has become familiar with Doncic over the past year. At the same time, James knows Doncic's caliber as a generational player, which is why he expected him to make the biggest play possible.

"Just a big-time shot by a generational player. For us, we wanted the last shot; we wanted to put the ball in our guy's hands. Started with AR, he was able to find him, able to get away from the double team, and hit the patented step-back. It's only going to be the first of many games," LeBron said after the win over the Nuggets.

As the Lakers continue to progress, they will have Doncic as their star player. Even if LeBron steps away after this season, the franchise already have a generational player to build around. It will be challenging, but Doncic will make it easier because of his overall impact.

Veteran actor Gajraj Rao showered praise on comedian-actor Sunil Grover for his impressive mimicry of legendary actor-writer Kader Khan during the finale episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show. Taking to Instagram on Sunday (March 15), Rao shared stills of Grover from the episode and penned a heartfelt note applauding his performance and versatility.

In Hindi, Rao wrote, “I am a fan of Sunil Grover; whatever he does touches the heart. When he comes on stage as Kapil Dev, even Kapil Dev keeps watching him in amazement. When he takes on the form of Salman, he actually starts looking like Salman… Dara Singh, Sidhu, Aamir Khan, Rajamouli - he can become anyone.

“In yesterday’s episode of The Kapil Sharma Show, he appeared as Kader Khan, and it felt as if Kader Khan himself was standing on the stage. Grover does not merely mimic; he enters the soul of that person. He absorbs their speech, expressions and mannerisms completely. Grover is one of the greatest shape-shifters of our time; his art is divine and he is truly unique.”

Rao also praised the entire team behind the show, adding that the magic wouldn’t be possible without everyone’s contribution.

During the March 15 finale episode of the show, Grover recreated Kader Khan’s iconic expressions, voice modulation and comic timing, leaving the audience in splits. The episode featured filmmaker David Dhawan and actor Varun Dhawan as guests.
